Your Role in the American Rosie Movement

Choose what you want to do, and do it well.

The American Rosie Movement is new type of social movement that is based on “the

people” doing visible, measurable work to honor Rosies and the Rosie Legacy. The Rosie Legacy proves that people can pull together to do quality work to maintain freedom. See this document for more information.

You may choose to do: a) Projects (we have tested many that have been replicated in many locations); b) Outreach to people and organizations that care about unifying to do quality work; c) Interviews of Rosies which will include looking for Rosies and making sure that their stories are available to the public; d) Fundraising for your work and/or the national movement; e) Leave a review with GreatNonProfits that describes your experience with this organization. For further discussion, please visit Contact Us.

In Phase I, we worked for more than a decade to learn how to find, interview, and work with Rosies so that public has a role in the American Rosie Movement.

Now, in Phase II, we are passing on what we have learned with the help of many people and partners. This is your chance to celebrate the meaning of Rosies.

If you do a good job and you show others what you have completed, you will help set the stage for making the Rosie legacy known throughout America and the world.

Rosies were not left out during World War II when the free world desperately needed to pull together. Now, we must work together with patience, quality work, and commitment to the future.

As Nancy Sipple, a Rosie who worked in Cincinnati, said in 2011,

"We pulled together then, we can do it again. It's our only hope."

Whoever and wherever you are, there is a role for you in the past, present, and future of freedom.

As you watch this Zoom meeting, think about how you can be part of a team that connects to many kinds of people in many places to do Rosie projects.

What we do at "Thanks! Plain and Simple"

"Thanks!" focuses on continuing the Rosie Legacy, so that pulling together to do quality work that preserves our freedom will be the standard for the human family. Below is a summary of our past accomplishments that we are applying to today and the future.

Projects as a Way to Honor Rosies

One way you can continue the Rosie Legacy is to replicate projects that Rosies have done with their communities. Below are some examples.
